Lavinia has worked in the City of London for over twelve years. She was COO at Llewellyn Consulting for seven years, where she worked closely with the Partners as a trusted, all-round, strategic and analytic manager integral to the building-up of the firm. Before joining the Llewellyn team, she worked at Lehman Brothers and Nomura as a macroeconomist in the Economic Research Department, analysing the European economic, policy, and financial outlook.
Lavinia has written extensively in the banks’ publications, and provided regular input and briefings to clients, policymakers, and the media. Lavinia also co-authored, with John Llewellyn, a major study, The Ascent of Asia, commissioned by Nomura’s CEO.
Lavinia holds an undergraduate degree in Statistics and Economics, with honors cum laude, from the University of Rome La Sapienza, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from University College London.
