Now based in The Hague, James is the primary contributor to Llewellyn Consulting’s Technologies pieces, writing on both science and technology, and in particular on areas that stand to have fairly immediate practical application in business. So far there have been almost 50 separate pieces on topics ranging from human organ printing to carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS).
Prior to that James was a Research Fellow at the Deutsches Rheuma-Forschungszentrum (DRFZ) in Berlin and was a POST Fellow in the UK Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, where he undertook research on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) regulation.
James has a PhD from the University of Birmingham and a first-class honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of York.
